The Little Beaver River is a left tributary of the Churchill River in the Canadian province of Manitoba .
The Little Beaver River has its origin in Buckland Lake - 30 km northeast of Northern Indian Lake . It initially flows in a predominantly south-easterly direction through a lowland plain with many lakes north of the lower reaches of the Churchill River. In the middle reaches the Little Beaver River turns to the north and finally in the lower reaches to the east before it flows into the Churchill River on the left. The river has a length of about 180 km. It drains an area of approx. 4250 km². The mean discharge near the mouth is 29 m³ / s.
