Little Dado
Little Dado (real name: Eleuterio Zapanta * 1. January 1916 in La Carlota ; † 7. July 1965 ) was a Filipino boxer in the flyweight .
Professional career
In 1932 Zapanta, who was much better known by his ring name, began his professional career. Dado also boxed in the USA from 1937 , was able to achieve some notable victories and was recognized as a universal world champion on December 14, 1939. On February 21, 1941, the NBA world champion belt was added with a unanimous victory on points against Jackie Jurich . He held both titles until 1942.
In 1943 Dado ended his career after 72 wins, 6 losses and 11 draws.
