Littrow is an impact crater on the northeastern front of the moon on the edge of Mare Serenitatis , north of Vitruvius crater and east of Clerke crater .
Littrow is heavily eroded, the interior is filled with Laven des Mare and therefore largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Austrian astronomer Joseph Johann von Littrow .
