Liu Zhenya

Liu Zhenya, President and CEO of SGCC

Liu Zhenya , ( Chinese 刘振亚 , Pinyin Liú Zhènyà , * 1952 in Shandong ) is a Chinese manager . He was an alternate member of the 17th People's Congress of the CCP and is a member of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party .

Life

Liu Zhenya started his professional career in October 1971. Liu graduated from Shandong University as a senior engineer . In November 1992, Liu was appointed deputy general manager of Shandong Electric & Industry Bureau, became general manager in December 1995, and then in 1997 chairman and general manager of Shandong Electric Power Corporation. In November 2004, he assumed the office of President and CEO of the State Grid Corporation of China .
