Zhenya Isaac

Zhenja Isaak (* 1985 in Dshetygara , Kazakh Socialist Soviet Republic ) is a German actor .

Life

Zhenja Isaak was born on the edge of the Southern Urals in what is now Kazakhstan . He grew up speaking Russian and German as mother tongues. From 2011 to 2014 he completed his acting training at the School for Drama Hamburg (SfSH) with a focus on film. During his training he appeared in several productions in the studio theater of the SfSH. He had theater engagements at the Hamburger Kammerspiele (2013), at the Sprachwerk Hamburg (2014) and at the Thalia Theater (2015, in Moby Dick , director: Antú Romero Nunes ). He also worked as a video actor in a street theater production for the Camden Fringe Festival in London .

Issak has also been in front of the camera regularly since 2012. He has appeared in several short films, a music video, as well as college and experimental films. His film partners included u. a. Heiko Pinkowski , Wladimir Tarasjanz and Robert Knorr . Under the direction of Lotta Doll , he made the movie Be There in 2016 , in which he played the reclusive architect Alain, who wears exclusively women's clothes and avoids any contact with people.

In spring 2018, Zhenja Isaak stood in front of the camera for the 15th season of the ARD television series Rote Rosen in Lüneburg . From episode 2651 to episode 2660 (broadcast period: May 2018) he played the street art artist and sprayer Sascha Hinterhofer, known as "Rabbit", a good old friend of the main character Theo Lichtenhagen ( Frederic Böhle ). Zhenja Isaak was part of the side cast of the 15th season of the ARD series Rote Rosen .

Isaak, who also works as a dubbing actor, lives in Hamburg.
