Livingstone Bramble (born September 3, 1960 in Saint Croix , US Virgin Islands ) is a former professional boxer from St. Kitts and Nevis .

Career

Livingstone Bramble began his professional career in the United States on October 16, 1980.

He won the WBA lightweight belt on June 1, 1984 against Ray "Boom-Boom" Mancini by heavy knockout in round 14. In the rematch, which took place on February 16, 1985, he won over 15 rounds clearly on points. He was able to successfully defend the title twice: against Ray Mancini and against Tyrone Crawley (heavy knockout in round 13). He lost his title on September 26, 1986 when he went KO against Edwin Rosario in the second round.

In the following years, however, a clear decline in performance became noticeable. He has lost twenty times of his last 36 fights, against Oba Carr, Roger Mayweather , Buddy McGirt , Kostya Tszyu , among others . After this series of defeats, there are no more recorded fights of him, but he has never announced his official retirement from boxing.
