Liz Stefanics

Elizabeth "Liz" Stefanics (born November 9, 1950 in Dayton , Ohio ) is an American politician ( Democratic Party ).

After completing school in Ohio, Stefanics studied at Eastern Kentucky University , then administrative sciences at the University of Wisconsin, and then law at the University of Minnesota . From January 1993 to December 1996 she was a member of the New Mexico Senate . Successor in office was Phil Griego .

Since January 2009, Stefanics has been a member of the Santa Fe County Commission . For many years she was involved in the Open Hands organization . She was also the director of New Mexico AIDS Services .

Stefanics is partnered with Linda Siegle.
