The Lizard Nunatak (from English lizard = German lizard ) is an approximately 800 m high nunatak in the north of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It rises from the Nichols snowfield .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after his 1977 form and following the appointment of the northeast neighboring Serpent Nunatak (of English serpent = German snake ).
