Lyudmila Nikolaevna Stal

Lyudmila Nikolajewna Stal ( Russian Людмила Николаевна Сталь ; * March 2 July / March 14,  1872 greg. In Yekaterinoslav ; † April 23, 1939 in Moscow ) was a Russian revolutionary.

Life

Stal joined the RSDLP in 1899 . She did party work in Petersburg, Odessa, Nikolaev and Moscow. From 1912 to 1914 she worked for the Pravda and Rabotnitsa newspapers . From August 1917 she was editor of the newspaper of the Kronstadt party committee Proletarskoje Delo . She became a member of the Presidium of the Kronstadt Party Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the Soviet. After the October Revolution she worked in party and state functions. In 1921/23 she was a member of the International Women's Secretariat of the Executive Committee of the Communist International . Later she did scientific work in the State Revolutionary Museum of the USSR .
