Ljudmila Schischkina appeared internationally for the first time at the 2011 Summer Biathlon World Championships in Nové Město na Moravě . In the sprint race she placed fifth with an error-free performance, in the sprint-based pursuit race she was 12th with six errors was held before the individual races.
