Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee , (* 1953 in London ) is a Sufi teacher of the Naqshbandiyya-Mujaddidiyya-Sufi lineage (a branch of the Naqshbandi - Tariqa ), doctor of psychology and author of several works on Sufism ( Islamic mysticism ).

Life

Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee came into contact with Sufism in 1972 at the age of 19 when he met his future teacher, the English - Russian Sufi teacher Irina Tweedie .

In his work as a teacher and author, he has specialized in the field of dream work for many years . He integrates the ancient way of Sufis to approach dreams and to look at them with the insights of modern psychology .

Llewellyn Vaughan-Lee is Sheikh of the Naqshbandiyya-Mujaddidiyya Sufi Order and founder of the Golden Sufi Center in California , USA . He has lectured extensively on Sufism, Carl Gustav Jung's psychology, and dream work in the United States , Canada, and Europe . He is currently giving retreats in the US and Europe.

His current teaching and writing focus is on the spiritual responsibility of our present time of transition and the evolving global awareness of oneness.
