Lloyd Thomas Andrews (born November 4, 1894 in Tillsonburg , Ontario ; † 1974 ) was a Canadian ice hockey player who played for the Toronto St. Patricks in the National Hockey League from 1921 to 1934 .

Career

Lloyd Andrews began his career as a hockey player with the Toronto St. Patricks , for which he made his debut in the National Hockey League in the 1921/22 season . With the team from Ontario , the attacker immediately won the prestigious Stanley Cup , scoring two goals in five games in the final round of the cup. In Toronto, for which he was active until 1925, the left shooter was rarely used, so that he only played a little more than 50 games in four years. After a year break, he joined the New Haven Eagles from the Canadian-American Hockey League in 1926 , for which he was on the ice for two years before spending another four years with their league rivals Philadelphia Arrows .

The 1932/33 season began Andrews with the St. Paul Greyhounds from the Central Hockey League , before he received a contract with their league rivals Hibbing Maroons (later Hibbing Miners). With these, the Canadian ended his career after their dissolution following the 1933/34 season.
