Lloyd Murad

Lloyd Murad (born April 9, 1933 in Trinidad ) is a former Venezuelan track and field athlete who took part in the Olympics twice and reached the finals with the 4 x 100 meter relay .

At the Olympic Games in Rome in 1960 , Murad was eliminated over 100 meters in the quarter-finals and over 200 meters in the preliminary run. The sprint relay with the line-up of Clive Bonas , Lloyd Murad, Emilio Romero and Rafael Romero reached the final and finished in fifth place. In 1964 in Tokyo , Murad reached the quarter-finals again over 100 meters. The season with the line-up Arquímedes Herrera , Lloyd Murad, Rafael Romero and Hortensio Fucil ran in 39.54 seconds in the finals in 6th place.

At the Central America and Caribbean Games, Murad won bronze over 100 meters and over 200 meters and gold with the relay in 1959. In 1960 he won bronze over 200 meters and gold with the relay at the Ibero-American Games.

With a height of 1.76 m, his competition weight was 73 kg.
