Hortensio Fucil

Hortensio Fucil Herrera (born February 8, 1939 ) is a former Venezuelan athlete who was in the 1964 Olympic finals with the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 1962 at the Central America and Caribbean Games , Fucil competed in the 400-meter run and won silver behind the Jamaican George Kerr . At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, Fucil was eliminated over 400 meters in advance. With the sprint relay consisting of Arquímedes Herrera , Lloyd Murad , Rafael Romero and Hortensio Fucil, he reached the final and finished 6th in 39.54 seconds.

With a height of 1.78 m, his competition weight was 76 kg.
