Logårds Kulle

The passage grave Logårds Kulle ( German  "Logårds Hill" ) is located in Kokkola, east of Falköping in Falbygden in Västergötland in Sweden . The passage grave was created between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC as a megalithic system of the funnel beaker culture (TBK) and is a form of Neolithic megalithic systems, which consists of a chamber and a structurally separated, lateral passage. This form is primarily found in Denmark, Germany and Scandinavia, as well as occasionally in France and the Netherlands.

Logårds Kulle is the northernmost of the megalithic sites in Karleby and is 100 meters from Ragnvald's grave . The passage grave ( Swedish gang handle ) is located in an approximately 2.0 meter high mound of about 27 × 11 meters, in which there is a one meter high, round inner mound with a diameter of about 15 m. Between 3500 and 2800 BC The rectangular chamber was built in BC and is 11 m long, 2.5 m wide and oriented north-south. There are some bowls on one of the 6 capstones (five granite and one limestone ). The corridor is about 8.0 meters long and 1.5 meters wide.

The facility was excavated by Oscar Montelius in 1874 and the remains of 63 individuals were found along with amber beads , flint , bones and animal teeth. After the archaeological investigation, it was left open and partially collapsed. It is now filled with gravel to stabilize the structure.

The Klövagården and Ragnvalds Grab facilities are located nearby .
