Logobou is both a commune ( French commune urbaine ) and a department encompassing the same area in the West African state of Burkina Faso , in the region of Est and the province of Tapoa . The community has 61,422 inhabitants.

The department lies between the Chaîne de Gobnangou in the north and the Beninese border in the south. To the east of the department is the Réserve partial de la Kourtiagou .
