On January 11, 2016, the participants for the Eurovision Song Contest - Who sings for Austria? , the Austrian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest. Among them was the singer Zoë, who performed the song Loin d'ici . In the show's finale, which took place on February 12, 2016, she finished fourth after the jury voted. Nevertheless, she managed to qualify for the superfinal through televoting, where she was finally able to prevail against Elly V with the song I'll Be Around (Bounce) . She represented Austria at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 in Stockholm. On May 10, 2016, she convinced in the first semi-final and took 13th place in the final.
