Long Lake (Antarctica)

The Long Lake (English for Long Lake ) is a small, narrow and slightly curved lake on the East Antarctic George V coast . It is located between Round Lake and Alga Lake on Cape Denison .

The Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson named him during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914). The official recognition of this designation took place on March 7, 1991 by the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia .
