The Longhurst Plateau is a snowy plateau in Antarctica's Ross Dependency . The 32 km long and up to 16 km wide plateau is 2200 m high in the Cook Mountains immediately west of Mount Longhurst and is bounded south by the upper section of Darwin Glacier and east by McCleary Glacier .
Participants of the team to explore the Darwin Glacier in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) crossed the plateau between 1957 and 1958. They named it after the mountain of the same name. Its namesake is Cyril Longhurst (1878–1948), secretary of the British Discovery Expedition (1901–1904).
