Mount Longhurst is a prominent 2845 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Cook Mountains it looms west of Mill Mountain . It is the highest point on the edge of the Festive plateau .
Participants in the Discovery Expedition (1901–1904), led by British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott, discovered the mountain and named it after Cyril Longhurst (1878–1948), a secretary of the expedition.
