Longkou

The city of Longkou ( Chinese  龙口 市 , Pinyin Lóngkǒu Shì ) is an independent city in the east Chinese province of Shandong , which belongs to the administrative area of ​​the independent city ​​of Yantai . It has an area of ​​893 km² and has a population of around 620,000 (2001).

The former residence of the Ding family (Ding shi guzhai 丁氏 故宅) and the site of the ancient city of Guicheng (Guicheng chengzhi 归 城城 址) from the Bronze Age are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China .
