Longshan (Xiangxi)

Longshan County ( 龙山 县 , Lóngshān Xiàn ) is a district of the Xiangxi Autonomous District of Tujia and Miao in the northwest of the Chinese province of Hunan . It has an area of ​​3,127 square kilometers and has a population of around 540,000 (2003). The seat of government is the street district Min'an民 安 街道.

The site of the ancient city of Liye (Liye Gucheng Yizhi里耶古城遗址) from the period of Warring States Period , the Qin Dynasty and Han Dynasty is on the list since 2001 monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-519).
