Yongshun

Yongshun ( 永顺 县 , Yǒngshùn Xiàn ) is a district of the Xiangxi Autonomous District of Tujia and Miao in the northwest of the Chinese province of Hunan .

In 1999 it had 482,624 inhabitants.

The copper column of Xizhou ( Xizhou tongzhu溪州 铜柱) and the Laosicheng site ( Laosicheng yizhi老 司 城 遗址), a village and former cultural center of the Tujia , have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1961 and 2001, respectively .
