Lord Bargeny
Lord Bargeny (also Bargany ) is a hereditary British noble title in the Peerage of Scotland .
The Lords' family seat was Bargany House at Old Dailly in Ayrshire .
Award
The title was created on November 16, 1641 for Sir John Hamilton of Carriden . He was a grandson of John Hamilton, 1st Marquess of Hamilton of the Hamilton family . The title could only be inherited in the male line.
The title expired on the death of his great-grandson, the 4th Lord, on March 28, 1736.
