Lorenzo Piani (real name Lorenzo Piattoni ; born September 27, 1955 in Giulianova , Teramo province , † August 14, 2016 in Rimini ) was an Italian pop singer and musician.

Life

After studying classical piano at the Rossini Conservatory in Pesaro , he released a single. As a musician he performed in many countries, including with King Hussein of Jordan .

In 1983 he returned to Italy, where he worked as a composer for RAI-TV. He has been involved in programs such as “Tandem” and “Vediamoci sul 2”, presented by Rita Dalla Chiesa and Fabrizio Frizzi . At the same time he wrote the song "Forza Rimini " for the city's football club.

In the spring of 1990 he released his first album, Sognatori Erranti , on the NAR label. The song Vecchio Poeta is produced and realized with the classic Scarlatti Orchestra of Italy .

For seven years Lorenzo Piani then moved to Scandinavia (Denmark, Norway, Sweden), where he played in clubs with his band. In 1995 he released the CD single The Train on RTI Music . In 1998 RTI Music published the album VIVO-Feelings .

In 2000 Lorenzo Piani embarked on a new adventure as artistic director of the Ballabellaradiofestival Talentscout project.

In 2008 he made an important collaboration with Brian Auger , who played the organ for the Sorpresi Dal Vento album.

In 2011 he released his fifth album entitled La Filosofia del CAM . CAM stands for food, love and music. A massive radio promotion brought the song to the indie music charts for weeks.

In July 2013, Piani released the album 10 Ten .

On March 27, 2015, the instrumental album SHADES OF MUSIC , a selection of instrumental pieces that define the various nuances of the music, was released.

On November 20, 2015 the single SENZA UN SORRISO was released. The project partner was a star of the opera world, the Sicilian soprano Desirée Rancatore .
