Lorenzo Rico Díaz (born January 17, 1962 in Colmenar Viejo ) is a former Spanish handball goalkeeper .

Career

Lorenzo Rico, who was 1.85 m tall and weighed 86 kg when he was active, played for BM Atlético Madrid from 1976 to 1987 , with whom he won the Spanish championship and the Copa del Rey de Balonmano five times as well as the Spanish Supercup once. From 1987 to the end of his career in 1995, he ran for FC Barcelona . With Barca , he added five league titles, four Copa del Rey, one Copa ASOBAL and five Supercups to his collection of titles .
