Lori Handeland

Lori Handeland (* 1961 ) is an American author who writes historical, contemporary and paranormal romance novels. She has won the Romance Writers of America RITA Award twice.

biography

Handeland wanted to be a writer when she was 10 years old. As an adult, she wrote her first book in a span of two years.

Handeland has written over 40 novels, short stories and short stories.

Handeland is a two-time winner of the Romance Writers of America's RITA Award, 2005 for Wolf's Kiss for Best Paranormal Romance and 2007 for The Mommy Quest for Best Long Contemporary Romance. She was also nominated seven times for the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Awards, which she won in 2005 for A Soldier's Quest .

Handeland is married with two sons and a dog.
