bibliography
Dresden Files
The "Dresden Files" ( German The Dark Cases of Harry Dresden ) are Butcher's first series about and with Harry Blackstone Copperfield Dresden, Chicago's first (and only) magician-detective. The series connects the fantasy world with today's reality through the very down-to-earth Harry Dresden. Harry is a real magician who makes his way as a private detective in an "alternative Chicago" where magic is real, but only noticed by very few people. The story is told from the first-person perspective of Harry Dresden.
