Lothar Düring

Lothar Düring (born June 3, 1940 - January 4, 2014 ) was a Nordic combined athlete from the German Democratic Republic .

Düring started his career at Dynamo Sohland and started working for Dynamo Johanngeorgenstadt in 1963 . In 1968 and 1970 he won the GDR championship in Nordic combined, in 1964 and 1969 he was runner-up. After ten years as a combiner, he ended his career after participating in the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1970 .
