Lothar Dittmer (born September 2, 1963 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Dittmer played for Normannia Harburg and FC Süderelbe before joining Hamburger SV in 1986 . He played in the Bundesliga with the Hanseatic League . Dittmer stayed a year and a half during which he always remained a supplementary player and completed 31 games. From HSV he went to league rivals FC 08 Homburg , for whom he played 30 Bundesliga games over the next two and a half years. In the first season Homburg was relegated, after the direct re-promotion, followed at the end of the season 1989/90 for Dittmer with the Homburgers as bottom of the table together with SV Waldhof Mannheim the renewed relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga . Dittmer left Homburg and played with Waldhof Mannheim in the 2nd Bundesliga. After two years at Waldhof, he switched to the amateur sector, followed by positions at Bonner SC , VfL Rheinbach and Lüneburger SK . He currently plays for the old men of TSV Elstorf, occasionally as a goalkeeper.
