Lothar Gintersdorfer

Lothar Gintersdorfer (born January 23, 1940 in Vöcklabruck ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) at rest. Gintersdorfer was a non-executive councilor in Vienna between 1991 and 2000.

Gintersdorfer attended the Realgymnasium and the Pedagogical Academy and subsequently worked as a teacher in Upper Austria and Vienna. Between 1990 and 1991 he was assigned to the Federal Ministry for Education and the Arts . Gintersdorfer began his political career in 1972 with the FPÖ- Hernals , in 1977 he took over the office of district party chairman. From 1973 he worked as a seminar leader in the Freiheitliche Bildungswerk and took over the management of the Bildungswerk between 1982 and 1990. Gintersdorfer was district councilor in Hernals from 1978 to 1987 and was sworn in on December 9, 1987 as a member of the Vienna state parliament and member of the local council. On December 9, 1991, Gintersdorfer moved to the Vienna City Senate and the Vienna Provincial Government and was sworn in as a non-official city councilor without a department. On January 28, 2000, Gintersdorfer was replaced in the city senate by Eduard Schock .

Gintersdorfer was President of the Cajetan Fields Institute between March 2002 and November 2006.
