Lothar Menne (born February 18, 1944 ) is a German publisher . He was the managing director and publishing director of Hoffmann and Campe . He also worked as a personal advisor to the management for the Lübbe publishing group . In 1996 he was named publisher of the year by the trade journal Buchmarkt .
