Lothar Scheche

Lothar Hans Willy Adalbert Scheche (born November 27, 1889 in Breslau , † 1975 in Hanover ) was a German lawyer and ministerial official.

Life

Scheche was born as the son of the royal major August Scheche and his wife Anna Scheche. Solid gold born in Wroclaw. Scheche studied law at the Silesian Friedrich Wilhelms University in Breslau and had been a member of the Corps Borussia there since 1910 , together with Lothar Neumann .

In 1914 he was at the University of Breslau for Dr. iur. doctoral thesis on antitrust law. He was then a soldier in the First World War . After his return he worked for the district governments in Kassel and Opole until 1921 . In 1921 he became a finance advisor and unskilled worker in the Prussian Ministry of Finance. He was also a senior councilor. In 1928 he became a ministerial advisor. Four years later he was general adviser in the Prussian Ministry of Finance, and from 1935 also in the Ministry of Finance of the German Reich. Between 1939 and 1943 he was Ministerialdirektor in the Reich Ministry of Finance.

After the end of the Second World War, Scheche was a member of the examination commission for senior administrative officials and also chairman of the supervisory board of PreussenElektra (PREAG). He was on the supervisory boards of several companies, including Vebag , Preussag and Hibernia . From 1950 to 1955 he was State Secretary in the Lower Saxony Ministry of Finance and until 1959 Director General of Lower Saxony GmbH. Scheche was chairman of the administrative board of the Hannoversche Landeskreditanstalt and also deputy chairman of the administrative board of the Niedersächsische Landesbank-Girozentrale .

In 1955 he was awarded the Great Cross of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
