Lotte Garnich

Charlotte "Lotte" Garnich , b. Friedberg, (born May 20, 1881 in Leipzig ; † 1939 ) was a German politician ( DVP ).

Life

The daughter of the national liberal politician Robert Friedberg and the Thekla, b. Friedmann, attended the secondary girls' school in Halle and studied economics at the University of Halle . During the First World War she worked as an advisor in the war press office .

After the November Revolution , she and her husband Hugo Garnich were among the founders of the German People's Party (DVP).

From 1919 to 1921 she was a member of the Prussian State Constitutional Assembly . In February 1921 she was elected as a member of the Prussian state parliament, to which she was a member until 1924. In parliament she represented constituency 3 (Potsdam II).
