Lotte Gorgeous

Lotte Herrlich (* 1883 in Chemnitz ; † 1956 in Eutin ) was a German photographer who made a name for herself in the 1920s , especially with photos from the still young naturist movement . She started taking photos after the birth of her son. She continued to educate herself self-taught and found her way through landscape photos and portrait studies. Her photos were used in publications by various (mostly short-lived) publishers, especially Lichtkampf-Verlag (publisher: Hanns Altermann ) and organizations of this movement. She has also published numerous books on the subject of nude photography and naturism .

Her works also include children's files (for example from her son Rolf, whose upbringing she accompanied photographically).

Lotte Herrlich was buried in the Nienstedten cemetery in Hamburg.
