Lou Barin (born January 26, 1999 in Grenoble ) is a French freestyle skier . She starts in the disciplines of slopestyle and big air .

Career

Barin had her first international success at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games in Oslo . There she won silver in slopestyle. In the World Cup she started in Font Romeu for the first time in January 2017 and took 27th place in slopestyle. At the 2017 Junior World Championships in Chiesa in Valmalenco , she took sixth place in slopestyle. The following year she came in 19th place in slopestyle at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang . In the 2018/19 season she became French big air champion and won the bronze medal in slopestyle at the 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk .
