Louis Simons

Wilhelm Ludwig "Louis" Simons (born December 14, 1831 in Elberfeld ; † December 24, 1905 there ) was a German entrepreneur.

Life

Simons was a partner in the Johann Simons Erben silk factory in Elberfeld and a member of the Elberfeld Chamber of Commerce . He was also a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Rhine Province .

In 1860 he married Helene Kyllmann (1842–1916), the daughter of Gottlieb Kyllmann . Together they had seven children, with one daughter not reaching adulthood. His son was Walter Simons , the President of the Imperial Court.
