Louis Verhelst at the World Ports Classic 2013

Louis Verhelst (born August 28, 1990 in Menen ) is a Belgian road cyclist.

Louis Verhelst won the Grand Prix Bati-Metallo in the junior class in 2008. In 2012 he drove for the junior team EFC-Omega Pharma-Quick Step, where he won a stage of the Tour de l'Eure-et-Loir and the Trois Jours de Cherbourg. In 2013 Verhelst drove for the Continental Team Etixx-iHNed , the farm team of Omega Pharma-Quick Step . That year he won one stage each at the Boucle de l'Artois , the Circuit des Ardennes and the Tour de Bretagne . At the end of the season he drove as a stagiaire for Cofidis , where he will also drive in 2014.
