history

Until the beginning of the 19th century, Immendorf was under the sovereignty of the imperial city of Nuremberg . The village and community rulership, which is decisive for the sovereignty of the Franconian region , was exercised by the Hersbruck Care Office in its function as Bailiwick . Immendorf took on a special administrative role, because it was located as an exclave of the Hersbruck nursing office in the middle of the bailiwick district of the nuremberg nursing office Velden . The high jurisdiction over the place, however, was perceived by this care office, this in its role as Fraischamt . Immendorf became Bavarian in 1806 after the imperial city of Nuremberg was annexed by the Kingdom of Bavaria in violation of the imperial constitution . The village thus became part of the New Bavarian territories that were taken over by the Napoleonic land consolidation , which was only subsequently legalized in July 1806 with the Rhine Confederation Act.

As a result of the administrative reforms at the beginning of the 19th century in the Kingdom of Bavaria , Immendorf became part of the rural community of Treuf with the Second Community Edict in 1818 , which also included the districts of Gerhelm, Henneberg , Kreppling , Münzinghof, Raitenberg, Siglitzberg , Siglitzhof and Stöppach . In the course of the municipal regional reform in Bavaria in the 1970s, the municipality of Treuf was split up and Immendorf was incorporated into Velden together with Gerhelm, Henneberg, Münzinghof and Raitenberg. In 2018 Immendorf had eight residents.
