Louis Wolff (writer)

Louis Wolff , also Ludwig Wolff , also Wolff-Kassel (born February 21, 1846 in Kassel ; † October 25, 1919 there ) was a German writer .

Life

Born as the son of Johann Heinrich Wolff and grandson of Louis Spohr , Wolff studied law in Marburg and Leipzig after attending grammar schools in Kassel and Rinteln . During his studies in 1864 he became a member of the Arminia Marburg fraternity . Because of an eye problem, he had to give up his studies in 1867. After his health had improved, he lived as a wealthy private citizen in Kassel. He worked as a writer and was considered the Kassel original. Wolff was a member of the Liberal Party .
