Louis worm

Louis Wurm (born October 19, 1866 in Lüdenscheid ; † September 26, 1941 there ) was a German politician ( DVP ).

Life

Wurm worked as a master furrier, worked in the fur trade and ran a furrier business in Lüdenscheid. He was president of the Arnsberg Chamber of Crafts and member of the board of the Westphalian-Lippian Crafts Association. In addition to his professional activity, he was involved as a district gymnastics manager for the Westphalia and Lippe district of the German Gymnastics Association . From 1934 to 1939 he was first chairman of the Lüdenscheider gymnastics club from 1861 .

Wurm joined the German People's Party (DVP) during the Weimar Republic . He was an unpaid member of the magistrate of the Lüdenscheid city administration and a member of the Provincial Parliament of the Province of Westphalia . In May 1928 he was elected to the Prussian state parliament, to which he belonged until 1932. In parliament he represented constituency 18 (Westphalia-South).

His daughter Elisabeth married Eugen Eichhoff in 1923 .
