Louise Ahrweiler
Louise Ahrweiler , née Louise Stjerna ( February 19, 1859 in Herford - March 9, 1897 in Munich ) was a Swedish-German stage actress .
Life
Although her father was a Swedish actor, she attended Swedish schools, was raised in Sweden and was trained for the Swedish stage by her father, she felt drawn to the poets of Germany and turned to the German stage in 1876. She found her first engagement at the Hoftheater Stuttgart . There she got a few big roles and, since she believed she could achieve quicker success on smaller stages, asked to be dismissed and accepted an engagement in Mainz . She received approval in major roles and was soon the audience darling. She was able to continue her successful career in Düsseldorf in 1878 and in Königsberg from 1879 to 1881, where she was appointed to the Cologne City Theater.
In 1889 she married the landscape painter Otto Ahrweiler and withdrew from the stage. She lived in Munich until her death.
