Louise Crome (born April 6, 1978 in Waihi ) is a former New Zealand squash player .

Career

Louise Crome began her professional career in 1997. One of her greatest successes was winning the 2004 runner-up in Chennai in doubles with compatriot Lara Petera . The two lost in the final to Natalie and Rachael Grinham . She achieved her best placement in the world rankings with 22nd place in August 2008. She won three tournaments on the WSA World Tour and was in eleven other finals. With the New Zealand national team , she took part in 2006 and 2008 world championships. In 2005 and 2007 she was New Zealand runner-up .

Louise Crome is married to the Australian politician Rodney Hide . She successfully graduated from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Commerce in Information Systems . She also obtained a Graduate Diploma in Marketing.
