Loy Katali

Loy Katali (born October 12, 1975 ) is a Ugandan politician ( NRM ) and a member of the Parliament of Uganda .

Life

At Makerere University , she received a degree in 2000 Diploma in Business . She then worked as an accountant for various organizations, for example from 2001 to 2003 at the Uganda Bureau of Statistics , from 2003 to 2004 in the state directorate for water management and from 2004 to 2008 in the state authority for microfinance . In 2008 she received the ACCA qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants , and in 2009 a Master of Business Administration from Makerere University.

From 2009 to 2011 she was a financial management consultant for the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of South Sudan , after which she was Chief Financial Officer of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), a regional organization of states in Northeast Africa, from 2012 to 2015 .

politics

Since 2016 she has been a member of the parliament of Uganda as a women's representative for the Jinja district . In Parliament, Loy Katali is a deputy member of the Finance, Planning and Economic Development Committee.
