Luéyi Dovy (born November 10, 1975 in Marseille ) is a former French sprinter .

Sporting successes

Together with Ladji Doucouré , Ronald Pognon and Eddy de Lépine , he won the gold medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the 2005 World Athletics Championships in 38.08 seconds .

In addition, Dovy was French national champion in 2007 in the 100-meter run and in 2004 in the 60-meter run . At the Mediterranean Games in Almería in 2005 , he was also able to secure the title in the 100-meter run.

In 2006 he was arrested with 12 mg of the doping agent somatropin , for which a French court sentenced him in 2007 to a fine of 500 euros for the acquisition, transport and possession of prohibited substances.
