Luíz Carlos Martins Moreira or short Luíz Carlos (born July 5, 1985 in São Mateus ) is a Brazilian football player .

Career

Carlos began his professional career in 2008 at São Cristóvão FR and then played in turn for the Brazilian clubs Ipatinga FC and SC Freamunde .

In 2011 he continued his career abroad with his move to the Portuguese club FC Paços de Ferreira . After two years at FC Paços, he moved on to Sporting Braga within the Primeira Liga . With this club he won the Portuguese Cup and the Portuguese League Cup in the 2016/17 season . In the same season he and his team reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Europa League .

In the summer of 2016 he switched to the Saudi Arabian al-Ahli and won the Saudi Arabian Supercup with it . For the second half of the 2016/17 season he moved to the Turkish first division club Osmanlıspor FK .
