Lu Ying-Chi
Lu Ying-Chi ( Chinese 盧 映 錡 , Pinyin Lú Yìng Qí ; born April 6, 1985 in Pingtung , Taiwan ) is an internationally successful Taiwanese weightlifter and Olympic participant.
In the 63 kg class of women she took 8th place at the 2006 World Championships in Santo Domingo with a duel rating of 215 kg, which means 18th place in the world's best list of the year; she reached 95 kg in snatch and 120 kg in push . At the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , she started for the team from Chinese Taipei and won the silver medal with 231 kg (= 104 kg + 127 kg) in a duel, after Irina Nekrasova , who originally came second, was stripped of it for doping.
At the 2009 World Weightlifting Championships in Goyang , Korea, she achieved 218 kg in the duel rating (98 kg + 120 kg) and thus finished 14th.
