Luan Madson Gedeão de Paiva (born August 11, 1990 in São Miguel dos Campos , Alagoas ) is a Brazilian football player . Luan, playing with his right foot, is used in the attack.

Career

Luan started his career in the youth team of CA Sorocaba . Here he also made the leap into the professional squad. His first game as a professional was in the Copa do Brasil in 2009 . He made his international club debut in the 2013 Copa Libertadores . Now playing at Atlético Mineiro , it was on August 1st against São Paulo FC . In 2011 the player was loaned to Comercial FC . He went on a trip to Europe in July 2011. During the trip Luan was tested by FC Basel . In the watch cup , the player was used against West Ham United . FC Basel wanted to sign the player, but could not reach an agreement with their parent club CA Sorocaba.

In December 2019, the move from Luan to Japan became known. He signed a four-year contract with V-Varen Nagasaki . The transfer fee from the contract, which runs until April 2022, was 6.1 million USD, of which 1.5 million went to Atlético Mineiro. With the club Luan should compete in the J2 League .
