Luba Shumeyko
Luba Hegre Shumeyko (born April 8, 1982 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , as Ukrainian Люба Шумейко Lyuba Shumeyko ) is a fashion designer , photographer, and photo and nude model . Her training included five years as a gymnast and a degree in fashion design. She became known as a nude model under the name Luba and is the wife, muse and model of the nude photographer Petter Hegre , whose pictures played a key role in her career.
Her career began as a model for Hegre, who became known with the help of the then new medium of the Internet. The internet business was followed by several printed illustrated books. Shumeyko's pictures have also appeared in Maxim , Matador , Perfect10 and others. In 2003 he married Hegre in Kiev. The Hegre couple and several other photographers have been publishing their own nudes magazine called New Nude since 2005 , which appears quarterly. Here, too, Shumeyko was featured on the cover of the first edition.
For some time now, her career as a model has been followed by a phase in which Shumeyko herself appears as a photographer and fashion designer, including at New Nude . In her work as a designer, she can draw on experience from her studies in fashion design at the University of Kiev.
Shumeyko's twin sister Nadya can also be seen in some of Hegre's picture series, but now works mainly as a fashion model in California.
