Luc Cornillon

Luc Cornillon (born June 7, 1957 in Rive-de-Gier ) is a French comic book artist and illustrator .

Life

Luc Cornillon studied at the Saint-Étienne School of Art . Together with his fellow student Yves Chaland he published a fanzine and was discovered in this way for the magazine Métal hurlant . Here some short stories were created in a retro-futuristic design. Further works were created for the magazines L'Écho des Savanes , Charlie Mensuel and Pilote . In Germany his short stories were published in Schwermetall . Two albums were released, Avenging Diamonds (Becker & Knigge, 1982) and Martians attack! (Carlsen, 1986).

He also works as an illustrator and commercial artist.
